Horse and Child in Blue

The sheer scale difference between a towering equine and a young child makes the gentle nature of the horse all the more striking. It is a moment of quiet connection that every equestrian family recognises—the careful lowering of a heavy head to meet a tiny handler.

Fluid washes of deep indigo, charcoal grey, and earthy ochre define the patient stance of the horse, contrasting beautifully with the bright cerulean blue of the child's jacket. The loose, atmospheric strokes capture a sense of stillness, while cool blue-grey shadows ground the pair against a minimalist ivory background.

A beautiful addition to a family living room or a young equestrian's bedroom, this piece celebrates the beginnings of a lifelong passion. Available in 40cm, 70cm, and 90cm sizes, it presents wonderfully as a classic Framed Print or texture-rich Canvas, especially within a Natural wood frame.
